Mr. Macy has chosen Microsoft’s Access Database software due to its powerful features and rapid query, forms and report development capabilities. Access can also be used with other database engines, including SQL Server. As the most widely-used database tool in the world, most applications can be easily modified and maintained by companies in-house.
“Excel is undeniably the leading analysis and ‘what-if’ tool, however, it is was never intended to be used as a database application.” says Mr. Macy. “Besides, Access is just as easy to use, and is a thousand times more powerful.” |
